Remember when mom use to say "did you get your greens today"? Well it's a benefit to your skin and here's why!

Kale is one of the most famous green vegetables that is eaten for its low calorie and high fibre content. It is an important and digestive ingredient of many recipes and hence has become a common name in Indian households. Traditionally, Kale has been consumed as a side dish in sautéed kale form, but it also adds extra taste when added to the soups and casseroles etc.

Apart from these food inclusions, the Kale vegetable is also widely popular for its health benefits. Kale can also be eaten as a weight loss inducing ingredient in meals and its leafy green texture makes it an ingredient in salads and in many similar recipes.

Boy o' Boy do I enjoy taking baths and especially milk baths! For super soft skin all year round.

Also adding some Mineral Salts into the bath water, dreaming of that vacation to the Maruba Resort Jungle Spa in Aruba.

Sure, you could load up on pricey cleansers and moisturizers—or you could use a product that's practically free and probably already in your kitchen: milk. Natural-beauty expert Paige Padgett says the ingredient can help soften, tone, and exfoliate your skin—and more. Here, she shares her favorite beauty uses for the dairy product.

Have sensitive skin that seizes up at the thought of being touched by a traditional foamy cleanser? Padgett recommends trying out whole milk as your daily cleanser. "It's gentle, yet effective in removing excess oil and makeup," she says.

Milk contains lactic acid, which is a form of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), the same ingredient in upscale chemical exfoliants. AHAs work to red...

Now don't get infusionofstyles wrong on this. But it has some benefits just thinks about it,

Jennifer Landa, MD, author ofThe Sex Drive Solution for Women, says that sleeping naked can be healthier for your vagina. While it's totally normal to have yeast and bacteria down there, the warm environment can sometimescause an overgrowth. One way to prevent infections is to "air it out" and go commando.

While you might like being cozy and warm at night, it's actually important to have a cooler environment when you sleep, says Lisa Shives, MD, who sits on the National Sleep Foundation's board of directors. "Your body temp progressively declines as you sleep, which is a natural tendency of the body, so being too warm with heavy PJs and blankets can disrupt that." Sleeping naked, she says, can help your body stay cool.

NEWSER: Pack away the flannel pajamas: A handful of studies and surveys show sleeping naked coul...

NUDE: devoid of a natural or conventional covering; especially: not covered by clothing or a drape - merriam-webster.com

My first artistic exposure to nudeness was a drawing class in college. But the really first perhaps was the National Geographic Magazines. But through out my life I have always enjoy the nude body that God created from a distance via painting or drawing and photography.

Try infusionofstyles unscented handmade soap called nudetivity.

Before last week, I’d never wondered if I needed a Brazilian wax before a workout.

I’ve never showered immediately before a workout either, but you want to be prepared before you do downward dog naked in a room full of strangers, no?

I didn’t have any expectations for my first naked yoga class. Truthfully, I didn’t know it was even a thing before I found a Manhattan studio called Bold & Naked Yoga.

Here’s the thing: I’d like to think I’m pretty comfortable with my naked body. I leave the lights on duri...

Here we go another strawberry recipe, yeah!

  • 2 large egg whites

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 pounds strawberries, hulled with some of the center cut out

  • 6 ounces high-quality dark or milk chocolate (your choice), chopped

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

  • 3 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs

Combine the egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar in a heat-proof bowl, preferably the bowl of your electric stand mixer. Place over top of a double-boiler that contains simmering water, and whisk constantly for 3 - 4 minutes until the sugar has dissolved and the egg whites are slightly warm.

Immediately remove the bowl and place it on your stand mixer with the whisk attachment, beating slow at first and gradually increasing the speed to high. Beat for 6 to 7 minutes until glossy and thick, then beat in vanilla extract for another minute until combined.

Scoop the...

infusionofstyles says another way to eat right!

Last week I went to the new Kiehl’s apothecary to diagnose and cure my skin issues. After pressing little pieces of paper into my forehead and cheek to measure the oil in my skin, the chemist revealed that there is next to no oil in my skin – like I suspected. I was a bit more optimistic about my skin’s water retention, coming out right in the middle of the “normal” spectrum from 30-50 percent. But my results are pretty disappointing considering the 133 ounces of water I drink each day – more than double the standard 64-ounce recommendation. Am I doomed to an inevitable fate of premature wrinkles and dryness, or could there possibly be a way for my skin to start helping me out?

I consulted a nutritionist to give me tips for hydrating my skin from the inside out, and not all hope is lost. While Kiehl’s may have your back with topical remedies, food should play a role in curing the issues y...

Does sex benefit your skin?

With Fifty Shades of Grey in the spotlight now more than ever, a lot of people have sex on the brain. If you’re planning to get close with someone you love, you might get more benefits than you think: it turns out that sex also has benefits for your skin.

“It’s like the benefits from massage,” explains Jeannette Graf, M.D., an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. “It’s enjoyable, and you release a lot of endorphins from the feeling of touch, which is a benefit in itself. Sweat also helps with detoxification and calorie burn, and the extra blood flow also helps with lymphatic drainage,” she says. “It feels good both inside and outside the skin, which is great for a gorgeous glow. The idea that you get turned on is an endorphin in itself. Intimacy, sweating, endorphins - it’s all good.”

But wait, there’s more! According to renowned sex and relationship therapist Dr. Emily Morse, that postcoital glow has ev...

I looooove air plants because even if I kill them, they’re cheap enough to replace and keep like 20 scattered around the house. So i have a half of dozen planters and holders for them, but could always use more.

I found these doll heads that had flat bottoms and would stand up perfectly straight — and even though dip dying might be totally last year, i decided to dip dye. i was hoping they’d kind of look like little pieces of like, southwestern pottery, which they kind of do…?

(the flat bottom makes them way better)

1. Using your drill bit, drill 1″ holes in your doll heads. we used 2 bar clamps to grab the ball from all four sides, squeezing them tight around the sphere and weighing the ends down with dumbbells to hold the whole thing in place while we drilled. let the drill to the work and don’t press down too hard or you...
